CASE STUDY:

London Commodity Brokers (Chinese version): iron-ore and coal brokerage house.

BRIEF:

A short film to explain the role of an iron-ore broker for the Chinese and English speaking markets. Tight time frame of five weeks as film was required for Beijing conference.

PROCESS:

The solution was found by mostly employing animation that would be engaging and over which foreign language voice-overs could be easily added.

Research into brokerage business - CEO and staff interviewed.

Script and storyboards approved.

Half-day shoot in London office.

Animation characters and sequences created and inserted into edit.

English voice-over recording in sound studio..

Video files sent to Hong Kong for Mandarin voice-over (vo) recording. 

VO married to picture in UK.

DELIVERY:

Finished Mandarin film version sent to Hong Kong by FTP for delivery on DVD same day - 3 days ahead of due completion date.

QuickTime & wmv files for playback from computer.
